Little About Us

Who we are?

WiLabs was founded in September, 2011. Right from the start, the ambition of the founders was to establish an innovative R&D company operating in the telecom/IT domain. The goal is to set up a profitable R&D venture targeting development of new technologies and introduction of novel innovative services and products. We intend to focus on telecommunication market, and in particular on machine-to-machine (M2M) systems and applications.

We believe the job is much more than just a business. We intend to apply the following principles:

  • Have right people on the boat. People are a basis for any organization. Although the slogan appears often in organizations, it's abused by many. We believe that having right people is really essential. We will seek people who not only can do the job technically, but also do it the right way. For us that means people living by similar values. It's all about trust. It's all about sharing responsibilities. It's all about supporting each other. And it's also all about having fun together! :-)
  • Treat people fair. Perhaps the most important part of a job is to interact with people, be it employees or clients. We believe people should be treated fairly. We understand and embrace this very rule on the basis of simple reciprocity.
  • Stay passionate. We believe (and have seen) that outstanding achievements are results of passion and determination. When people do what they really love, the results tend to come somewhat automatically. We intend to work on topics that we're passionate about.
  • Keep work-life balance. (at least attempt to...:). As passion may get you drawn into a topic for long days and hours, we know we need to take care about life outside the job. Yes, it's not going to be easy, but it's good to put it in the list anyway! :-P
  • Deliver on promises with an exceptional quality. We intend to deliver what we were set to deliver. It's not to say that we cannot adjust the plans. Here, however, the quality and overall satisfaction should be the guide when adopting original plans.
  • Stay open-minded. The world around us is changing. Staying open minded is crucial to be part of this change. It is also supposed to be a part of our own development.
  • The world around is also our responsibility. We understand that doing business is also part of the wider context. We believe that being part of the world is also sharing the responsibility, which may sometimes require action or reaction. We believe we will serve the world better when thinking in a broader context.
